We are property owners on Long Lake, located in Hale Michigan (Iosco County).
We are an All Sports Lake where people enjoy all types of recreation and relaxation. The goal of the association is to be an advocate for good stewardship of this great natural resource we are all enjoy. Check out the links above for more information, including meeting times and links.

Long Lake is an all-sports lake located in Plainfield Township, Iosco County, in northeastern Michigan's Lower Peninsula. Situated near the community of Hale, Long Lake covers approximately 493 acres with a maximum depth of 62 feet, this beautiful body of water offers clear waters and a serene setting amid northern Michigan's forests and rural landscapes. It is easily accessible and serves as a cherished natural resource for residents and visitors in the region.
Long Lake boasts a full range of recreational activities, including boating (motorized and non-motorized), waterskiing, tubing, swimming, and kayaking during the summer months. It is especially popular among anglers, with abundant walleye, bass, and panfish. In winter, the frozen lake provides opportunities for ice fishing and other cold-weather pursuits, while the association promotes stewardship to protect water quality and preserve the lake's recreational appeal for future generations.
The surrounding Iosco and Ogemaw County area enhances outdoor experiences with nearby attractions like the Huron National Forest for hiking, camping, and wildlife viewing; the Au Sable River for canoeing and fishing; and Tawas Point State Park for beach activities and birdwatching. Additional options include exploring local trails, golfing, or visiting the Lake Huron shoreline for more amenities, making Long Lake an ideal base for year-round adventures on Michigan's Sunrise Side (but we've got the sunsets too!)
