We’re looking for one or two people to keep an eye on the loons. Things like observing the date they return, if/when they nest, how many eggs
are laid, how many hatch, and how many fledge (fly away) at the end
of the season.
The data you collect is submitted to the Michigan Loon Preservation
Association, a Michigan non-profit dedicated to the preservation of
some of Long Lake’s favorite residents.
If you are interested in becoming a Long Lake Loon Ranger contact,
contact the MLPA at www.MichiganLoons.com, or email longlakeassn@yahoo.com and we can get you in touch the right people.
